Miner The Oracle 2010

Healthy ruby-red. Some herbal, inky high notes along with black cherry, cassis, licorice, menthol and violet on the nose. Concentrated but a bit hard-edged and bound-up, conveying an impression of slightly green acidity. No shortage of flavor intensity here but finishes a bit tart, without the length or ripeness of the best 2010s. The tannins turn dry with air, with the wine showing a building green quality. Hard to warm to.
