Lafarge Meursault 2018

The bouquet wafts from the glass in a mix of pear, apple, hazelnuts, chalky soil tones, spring flowers and a nice, youthful touch of orange peel in the upper register. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, focused and nicely reserved in personality out of the blocks, with a good core of fruit, fine mineral undertow, bright acids and lovely length and grip on the promising finish.  - John Gilman
