Holy Crow Free Rangers,

Super scattered here folks. Like an overturned semi, jackknifed on the interstate, loaded to the brim with super bounce balls. I very much wish I had some cool fun news to relay, but my amorphous purgatory on wheels continues to metaphorically roll down the avenue, not unlike a runaway train. It still seems that we might come out of this era with an exciting new future on which to build, but sadly it is still too soon to say. Suffice it to say that we’re still here, if you’re reading this you are too, and any day you can walk away from is still a good one in our book.

But seriously, how are you?! Turkey Day has passed us once again, and it’s a reasonable time to check in with yourself, breathe deeply, and make sure all the gears are still turning. Whether or not you find yourself in reasonably solid shape, it also can’t hurt to check in with those on the fringes of your circle who might need to be asked such a question as well. While it may or may not be true that we all die alone, for the time being, we are most decidedly all in this together. A notion to which I am always happy to toast. Cheers.

Apologies to those who were told that the next e-mail, and its respective sale, would be hitting your inbox yesterday. I had grand plans for this week’s online only sale, but Derek talked me back down, such that the whiskey portion of the sale starts now, while the wine that was to be here will release next week (Monday?). So here’s a fun list of whiskeys from $39 to $149 at the best prices we’ve yet offered, many of which are also the lowest prices in town. On the list below, and the applicable hidden sale page, you’ll find old stalwart favorites such as McKenna 10yr Bourbon and Hibiki Harmony, lovely local bottles from Neversink and Kings County, recent limited releases like Lagavulin 11yr Offerman Edition batch #3 and Dickel Bottled in Bond 13yr, and a couple of recently acquired crazy closeouts from the Game of Thrones line of Scotch ie. Cardhu Gold Reserve and Mortlach 15yr Six Kingdoms. So, click the link below and go to town. Happy hunting!
