Nothing like a deadline to get the ponderous synapses exploding forth, and I’m moving apartments tomorrow. I may have gotten a little cocky as so much of what I own remains in the boxes in which they were packed 13 months ago. Meanwhile, my brain is looking down at me with an evil grin, “nah man, you’re good. Plenty of time for all that.” But all three of us know this is a lie. I could go on like this for hours, just you and me, but the movers will be at my old place at first light, and since this is the second e-mail this week, let me focus and get right to the business of it.
