Let’s not all be that guy who popped his head in the week we opened, “What’s this about FREE WINE?” His excitable toothy grin falling blank as I wearily explained, “Free Range Wine, it’s the name of the shop. Like free range chicken, but for wine.” Maybe the name wasn’t as clever as I had originally thought. Then I remembered, clever chafes me like rhinestone skivvies. “I was trying to come up with something that sounds like ‘organic’,” I continued, “but couldn’t possibly apply to a bottle of wine.” He wasn’t getting it, and apparently couldn’t understand why he wasn’t already drinking free wine. Can’t win ‘em all. Eleven years is a bit late to change our branding (what kind of irredeemable jackass would do that- oh, right… ) and we would’t abandon or beloved Fampersat for all the Chardonnay in Oregon.
Thanks to everybody who (quickly) bought through our two Cellar Selections Pinot 6-Packs and our latest You Don’t Hate Chardonnay 6-Pack! We thought we’d keep the cellar selections rolling, but couldn’t pull together significant enough quantity to do another concise themed pack, so here are a dozen Cellar Selections at a serious discount for you to pick your own cherries in your preferred quantities (until they’re gone!). Here you’ll find a number of our favorite properly aged American bottles (Saxum, Bedrock, Pax, Venge) alongside a few old world offerings, including a couple of 10 year old St Cosme reds and some very peak drinking Brunelllo. You’ll have to click the link below to see all 12 Cellar Selections with discounted pricing and (very limited) availability:
Okay whiskey nerds, this is your last call on our latest exclusive barrel, Elijah Craig Free Range Single Barrel Bourbon 10yr, at the discounted price of $39! Apparently the link was briefly down last week when the sale was still supposed to be live. So, get after it, stock up at the sale price, and I you miss it, I don’t want to hear about it, you had three weeks! But seriously, grab ‘em while they’re $39, as the shelf price is officially $59. And there are still a very few of our vertical packs remaining, if you want to get in on a few of our long sold-out previous Elijah Craig releases:
