Welcome Free Rangers,
To 2026, which is not unreasonable to approach with relative optimism, especially here in heartland of America, downtown Brooklyn, USA. Anybody who saw our new mayor speak at Grand Army Plaza yesterday (the other day, by the time you’re reading this), or has caught even a whiff of his initial executive orders and/or first steps to forward his agenda will hopefully agree. This is a sharp, energetic, well intentioned public servant who understands the game, and seems to be installing similarly minded allies in many positions to most directly positively impact the lives of as many of us as possible. Beware the media machines that are already poised to loudly and aggressively say nay to any and all of it, with cutting headlines from the usual idiots.
Now, in deference to those doing Dry January, we’re taking January off from in-store tastings. Nah, that’s not true. We’re taking it off mainly because we’re a little fried from the 4th quarter of last year, but are hard at work putting together the tasting lineup for February, March, and beyond. Already have some great ones booked, planning to continue doing these (*most*) every Thursday of 2026. That still looks weird in (virtual) print. Too soon. But as always, all you fine readers and regulars are more than welcome to hit us up for a taste of one of our recent arrival exclusive whiskeys, which we always have open. And in all seriousness, godspeed to those taking the month off the sauce. Respect. We’ll see you on the flip side. If you want to buy a bottle from the mystery sale below, we’ll gladly hold all purchases (as long as you like, really, but also) until February 1st, so as not to lead you into temptation.
So, Free Rangers, this week’s ONLINE ONLY sale is a newer take on our old Magical Mystery packs. But since whiskey is more of a bottle at time kinda thing than is wine, that’s how we’ll play this Mystery Whisk(e)y(s) Sale! We have a list of one-offs, ones, and twos whiskeys that we just don’t have shelf space to display. There are some very serious and very tasty bottles in here, some exceedingly rare, spanning the spectrum of styles and prices, from $28 to $195. So, each mystery bottle will have a rough description, along with fully transparent pricing, so you’ll know where your $s stand. And every last one of ‘em are offered at the lowest price in town *guaranteed* (if not on Earth). Many (most) at or below cost. No shit. Click the link below to check out the full list. Happy hunting!
