Kelley Fox Pinot Noir Carter Vineyard 2023

From the Winemaker: It’s such an honour to be able to make wine from these old, organically farmed vines at this historic vineyard owned by Ken and Karen Wright of Ken Wright Cellars. The vines were planted on their own roots back in 1983. 2019 was my first year working with Carter.
The 2023 is a transparent, youthful, medium-deep, and luxurious red. The Carter 2023 has a rich strawberry/raspberry/red cherry nose with subtle spices, a hint of violets, and ocean-fresh minerals that are carried through the palate to a long finish with beautiful tension and power. True to old-school Eola-Amity Hills, this is a wine of great character and needs time.
