Like a ______. Wrong answers only. Lefties like me are genuinely tired of being proven right. And now we have national storm troopers murdering citizens with complete impunity. The ICE agent that shot and killed Renee Good (say her name!) should have been arrested on the spot by actual law enforcement. This was a state sponsored murder. We’ve all seen the video. There is no gray area here. A regular customer- who I genuinely like as a human- went on national television to both sides the issue for a major “news” network. There is no misunderstanding here. Masked men with no oversight are being paid well- some of the only decent paying jobs that are hiring- to harass, incarcerate, and murder anyone with a foreign accent and/or brown skin that they can wrangle into custody. It was only a matter of time before they got to a white lady with no criminal record- which mainstream media couldn’t ignore. It is hard to look around at any of this and have any idea where we will be in another six months. This is not the time to be quiet and hope it all goes away. Our democracy is in real trouble, and more unqualified, untrained morons with deadly weapons and no constraint are being deployed to more American cities as I type. Take care of yourselves, and your loved ones, and don’t be afraid to stand up for what you know is right. And Tony, you must know that you are on the wrong side of history. Your thoughts on Israel’s genocide in Gaza were bad enough, but playing diffusion defense for American fascist murderers is the whole game. You are not dumb enough to not know what you’re doing. Is it really just for the paycheck? I get that you and your industry are in a tight spot, but damn man.
