Hello Free Rangers,
How’s everybody holding up this January, dry or otherwise? I bumped a bunch of content from our worst customer of the week (why do the really awful people always think they’re punishing you by leaving?), to the ways that this gig shares structural similarities with both bartending and teaching high school. I’m too scattered at the moment to explore those notions as fully as they deserve. And while many of you know of the changes that are coming to our microcosm, and that these days it feels like I have two full-time jobs, it doesn’t seem quite right to get into all of that just yet either. So, let’s talk about dogs. Thank dog for dogs, and thanks to all of you who share your furry friends with us! From my spirit animal, Fred the Fredlington Terrier, to sweet Dolly Parton the Golden, and Harry the Frenchy-ish little guy and his inquisitive sideways (treats please!) face, they help take the edge off our days. And for the few of you that have not been specifically told so, please feel free to come by for cookies, ear scratches, and chin pets whether or not your bar cart requires replenishing. No purchase necessary! For cuteness overload, the pic at the bottom is of our buddy Kareem’s little buddy, Tank the Pittie puppy. We love him.
When it came time to build a sale to go with this week’s e-mail, my brain wasn’t having it, so I turned over responsibility to Derek (who also came up with last week’s free gifts offer).
