This has been an all-in, fly by night, bass-ackwards endeavor from the start and we too would be surprised if that had changed just because our little shop is into its second decade. Precociously adolescent seems about right. But we’re an old soul. As you may have noticed, our space at 329 Atlantic Ave is closed. We are officially open at 345 Atlantic now, and the last few days’ re-opening was so soft it was still raw in the middle. Enormous thanks to those of you who enjoyed our “lemme see what I can dig out of a box for you” service during that first ridiculous day! It was a bit of a clusterfucknado, but a good time was had by most. It’s still a work in progress, and it will take us another week or so to re-stock on all of our staples, so please go easy on us for another minute.
So with at least one more paragraph of ado:
Ladies & Gentlemen, children of all ages (of at least 21 years), welcome to Free Range Wine & Spirits 3.0 … er, slightly janky 2.2 phase. Ah, the best laid plans. Still absolutely buried under the slow motion train wreck that has been our year long 200’ move, but we’re inches away from coming out clean on the other side, like Andy Dufresne. And the new joint is well on its way to being something special. We’ll be expanding a number of categories, and are just about to re-launch our in-store tasting program.
Speaking of which, our first in-store tasting since March of 2020 is this Wednesday, November 1st (4:30-6:30pm), with our friend, winemaker, Scott Sampler, who will be here pouring you FREE tastes of selections of his wholly unique Scotty Boy, L’Arge d’Oor, and Central Coast Group Project wines. All wines being tasted will also be discounted by (at least) 10% off. Please come join us on Wednesday, it’ll be a fun one!
