Jean Dauvissat Chablis 2022:“Our Chablis is true to the real Chablisien style. Our parcels of vines are spread throughout virtually the entire geographical area of the appellation, as we own about forty parcels in 7 different communes. This variety allows us to make Chablis that is rich, with a perfect balance between minerality and fruit.” –
Domaine Drouhin Arthur Chardonnay 2023: Our “2023 Chardonnay Arthur offers freshness, complexity and gorgeous flavors – a combination of our specific place in the Dundee Hills and well-loved vines that were planted 30 years ago. Right up front, the nose opens with clear notes of orange orchard, lemon, green apple, and a hint of baking spice. On the palate, a delightful minerality intertwines with flavors of citrus, baked apple and honeysuckle. Drinking beautifully now, this Chardonnay should be something to behold over the next 7-10 years.”
Brittan Vineyards Estate Chardonnay 2023: Our 2023 Estate Chardonnay has remarkable clarity, verve, and precision. Golden apple, Bartlett pear, and fig notes balance the moderate oak, baking spice and citrus zest on the nose. There’s a lovely earthy minerality on the palate that beautifully complements the wine’s texture and acidity. Pair with heirloom tomato tart or creamy crab and chanterelle pasta.
Kumeu Village Chardonnay 2024: This is a wine where we always have a bottle in the fridge. The perfect aperitif Chardonnay this wine also goes very well with all types of seafood. Fermented 80% in old French oak barriques, and 20% in stainless steel tanks there is very little oak influence on either nose or palate. This has allowed the vibrant fruit to show through beautifully with lively lime and lemon aromas and a flinty, mineral edginess with hints of fig and white peach.
Kelley Fox Chardonnay Willamette 2023: “This is the third vintage of Kelley’s Willamette Chardonnay, which comes entirely from the Freedom Hill Vineyard. The wine undergoes primary and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel, giving it exceptional freshness and nice cut while still maintaining texture and balance. It’s a beautiful expression of unoaked Chardonnay, chiseled and lean but textured and pleasurable.”
St. Innocent Chardonnay Freedom Hill Vineyard 2018: Complex, dense, yellow, floral and fruit aromas on the nose are accented by stony minerality across the mid-palate. Flavors of peach, dried apple and nutmeg are rich and bright with a touch of orange marmalade. Texturally very broad across the palate, the viscosity lingers long into the finish. Pair with a variety of lighter and complex dishes especially chicken and crab.
