| It’s a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood Free Rangers, These sunny days, when it’s basically cellar temp outside, allow us to open the door without sacrificing the consistency of nap experienced by the fancy bottles on the back wall (and behind the back wall). And while nobody wants to talk about it anymore, I can attest that the pandemic is still raging, and that my most recent bought with whatever variant swept through the area was the most debilitating to date. And while I never had the respiratory destress that often foreshadows the most final of the viruses potential consequences, many regions’ hospital systems are still near maxed out. So having the front door and back window open just make the whole experience of the indoor public facing gig thing a lower pressure endeavor. It takes some dark notions to get me to admit and experience pleasantness. We all have our crosses to bear. This most lovely of weather scenario generally indicates the seasonal Quickening, though what should have been last year’s holiday season didn’t really happen at all, so we’re not going to count any sales that have not yet occurred. But we are going to continue with the fairly aggressively priced sales, and do what we can to keep the numbers happy and to keep you all stocked up with the good stuff. Not much to say beyond delicious American whiskeys at some of the best prices in town, though I’m particularly fond of FEW Tequila Barrel Bourbon and Pendleton 20 ( the latter of which remains one of the softest, prettiest whiskeys ever to pass my lips).
