Andrew Will Sorella 1998

'Bright ruby-red. Pungent, spicy aromas of cassis, black raspberry, violet and dark chocolate, lifted by leafy and peppery notes of cabernet franc. Juicy and vibrant in the mouth, with lovely shape and verve. Solidly built and structured to last. Finishes very long; tannins are quite firm but not dry. A superb Washington State red wine, but the '97 poured alongside it was even better, with penetrating sweetness and outstanding density and verve. I scored this wine 93(+?), which leads me to believe that I slightly underrated some of the Andrew Will '97s a year ago.'
