"100% Nerello Mascalese sourced from multiple vineyard sites on the northern slope of Mt Etna at an altitude around 650m above sea level. Soils are a mix of volcanic, sand, and pebbles, rich in minerals. Vines range in age from 70-90 years. Fermentation occurs in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine ages for 2 months in oak barrels, and is then transferred to steel tanks for further aging. Prior to release, the wine spends 4 months in bottle."
