Chartreuse Green is a French herbal liqueur made from a brandy base. 55% ABV, it is very floral and herbal, with sweetness on the nose, showing notes of anise, citrus, basil, thyme, spearmint, rosemary, and licorice. It has some viscoity on the body and a long and smooth finish. It is a great cocktail item, but many also enjoy drinking it straight or on the rocks.

Producer notes: "Only two Chartreuse monks know the identity of the 130 plants, how to blend them and how to distill them into this world famous liqueur. They are also the only ones who know which plants they have to macerate to produce the natural green and yellow colours. And they alone supervise the slow ageing in oak casks."
