Daftmill Single Malt Scotch Winter Batch 2007 (bottled 2020)

Daftmill is a farm distillery. Owned and operated by the Cuthbert family, the distillery itself only runs during the farm’s quiet periods – midsummer and winter – sometimes producing as few as 100 casks per year. When not distilling, Francis Cuthbert looks after the estate, growing the barley used to make this Lowland whisky. The Daftmill Winter Batch Release 2020 was distilled from clear wort during the summer of 2007, with a slow distillation regime. It hit the European market in 2020. It contains whisky from 6 first fill Bourbon barrels.
