What goes here, in this space… again? Whose words these are I think I know. Piles of fragments, dormant prompts, and moderately clever word usements previously structured luckily lurk in open files nestled in the same application that currently captures these words. All interesting ideas still, but now they just seem like manual labor for the prefrontal cortex. They deserve better. Some things should stay in the proverbial drawer, at least a little longer. And sometimes the incoming energy at street level is dense, dangerous, and encompassing- like barbed molasses- such that its inky baneful intent engulfs the landscape (outside and in). The grating squeaks of disparate wheels gyrating completely out of consort with the greater mechanism, throwing rusty shards of previously dormant cyclonic sediment; going off the rails on a crazy train. Terrible gibberish, scribbled cocktail napkins, and the vestigial echoes of eras burnt out and long forgotten. These are a few of my fāv-ô-rïte things. Wait… what’s the score here?

Now, this week’s FREE in-store tasting is with our pal, Clarke, from Rosenthal who will be here in the shop this Thursday, February 22nd (5-7pm) to pour you FREE tastes of two old school Arbois by the recently retired Joseph Dorbon: Dorbon Arbois Les Bernardines 2020, a light dry red of ploussard and pinot noir; and Dorbon Arbois Cuvee des Moyne 2017, a fuller more complex white of chardonnay and savignin. A third player to be named later will also be available for tasting. More on that as developments unfold. Regardless, all tasting day bottles will be 10% off, or 20% 6+ mix & match, tasting day only!
