Hey Free Rangers,
Stabbing through the morning’s business, and trying to corral a murder of phrases, clauses, and notions into a coherent paragraph or two when Off Brand Shrek knocks on the side window, just to let us know that he’s still out there. Not certain when this passive aggressive harassment becomes criminal, but we’ll look into it, if this becomes a habit. As a socialist and a citizen generally against the carceral state since long before that was cool, it takes a special kind of jackass to trigger engagement with that dense blue line, so let’s hope it doesn’t reach that pitch. Perhaps Shrek will find better things to do with his time. Hope springs eternal.
Pasquale slips in as I tend to and sign for a delivery at the back wall, and bound (cat like) up front to hold the door for our hand truck welding delivery dude. Even with nearsighted eyes, the hues of red, blue, and purple that fight for supremacy on Pasuale’s forearm, and the unusually haggard expression he wears indicates that things are not as usual. He had recently been airborne, and separated from an E-bike by a Mother Earth pothole. He says it does’t feel broken, and isn’t interested in seeking medical attention. But I’ll keep asking if he’s sure, and to keep that ice pack on it, until he goes to urgent care or tells me to shut up about it.… “Oh wow, that is definitely changing shape. That elbow doesn’t look good.” The adrenaline wearing off, Pasquale accepts that his wing requires medical intervention, and is en route to one of our many local medical facilities. The complete nut offered to carry a shipping order down to Fedex on the way, which obviously I declined. Goddamn, that looked like it hurts. Cheers to your speedy recovery, my friend!

And apologies to those who went looking for the Black Maple Hill Rye last week, which was not yet posted. That’s on me, not Derek. But they’re live now, go, go, go! New additions to the Sale of Sales include our last coupla bottles of Ridge Mataro Gonsalves 2018, the tiny production culty Kapcsandy Estate 2017, and some big dog Burgundy at the lowest price(s) we can find: Domaine Faiveley Clos Vougeot 2013 and Domaine Drouhin Griotte-Chambertin 2014! And still many a cherry to be picked from previous uploads.
