| Hello Free Rangers, Pretty sure I once wrote one of these things about how we’ll never tell you what to drink based on the season, the weather, or whatever the topic of 90% of your inbox on a given week. But we’ve also got this new Kentucky Owl St Patrick’s Edition Bourbon to sell, and I kinda feel like our window is closing there, regardless of its tastiness. So, it’s really only through the transitive property that I’m infringing on my own rules, which nobody remembers anyway. And I couldn’t actually locate said previous post. So much for my clever subject lines. One of my favorite writers used to like to say, “I hate clever.” Hard to argue with that. I need an editor. … Wait, what was the question? That was an editing joke, because the first thing an editor would do would be to ask what the hell I think I’m doing with that ellipsis. It isn’t even attached to anything. #FunWithPunctuation While our little shop sits on a relatively main artery here in Brooklyn, we’re mercifully distant from places where jackasses from the suburbs will be vomiting green beer onto the pavement, we are using this absurd holiday as an excuse to drop the price on that aforementioned KY Owl (which is normal whiskey color), and a handful of other Irish items that we dig. Anybody else have a hankering for some corned beef? As many of you know, we are huge fans of West Cork Distillers. Unfortunately, we’re not the only ones who feel this way, and their 10 year Single Malt became their 8 year Single Malt because they couldn’t keep up with demand, and now that 8 year is an allocated item. That being said, how ‘bout a sale price on the last of the West Cork Single Malt 12 Year Rum Cask, as well as West Cork Irish Whiskey IPA Cask, and West Cork Irish Whiskey Stout Cask? Check it out below. Tullamore Dew remains one of Ireland’s most classic labels, and represents very high quality per dollar. So we thought we’d add Tullamore Dew Single Malt 14 Year to the sale. And Coole Swan Irish Cream continues to be my favorite thing to put in coffee. It’s organic, it’s 3 ingredients, and it tastes like whiskey and marshmallows. Also in sale below. (!)
